Our story
It started with a wedding, 200 guests and 2,000 photos
After the shoot, every guest wanted the pictures of themselves - and nobody wanted to install an app or scroll through two thousand frames to find them. Face search was the obvious answer; the tools we tried either cost a fortune, locked the photos in, or felt one algorithm tweak away from leaking our customers' faces. So we built our own.
That is where Refine comes from: upload a whole event, let each guest find themselves with a single scan, and give the person behind the camera a clean, private place to deliver. Weddings, corporate events, college fests, birthdays - if there are people and photos, the hand-off should be painless.
Everything on this site is built in-house - the photo AI, the storage layer, the share links - and we operate the service ourselves. Nothing is white-labelled or resold, which is why we can be specific about how your media is handled.
What we believe
Four principles, no compromises
Four promises about your media - and how the product is built to keep them.
Delete means gone
Deleting a photo takes the face data and the thumbnail built from it with it. The trash empties itself after 30 days, and deleting your account purges everything: content, embeddings, share links, sessions and logs.
We never train on your photos
Your media is not training data. It is not used to train AI models, not sold and not shared - what you upload stays yours.
Share it, then take it back
Albums stay private until you hand out a link. Links can carry a password and an expiry date, and you can revoke one at any moment - guests never need an account.
